Henry has dedicated his life to ridding the Valley’s business world of people like Eddie the Fang, a back stabbing, credit thieving, dirty office politicking member of upper management. Wu is busy trying to solve everyone’s problems and Molly wants to fall in love. Then Boris, the handsome Russian Spy Guy comes to work at Whizzybang with plans of his own that involve a little hacking. Meanwhile Pocco is managing his lawn service, his marital problems and his anger management problems while figuring out how to get his wife back, rid himself of plastic explosives and get rich quick. Everyone is intent on saving the Silicon Valley, including the FBI, CIA, DARPA, NSA, DNS, Snoop Troops, SPCA and the Santa Clara fire department and Boris’ brother Max, who is being held for ransom by the Bulgarian Mafia. Rollicking fun as the Valley is viewed by those who live there.

The author, who has a valid repertoire of computer language and actual knowledge of this once computer mecca, has taken this information and turned it into a comedy of several different ethnic people who work in this atmosphere and by most unusual means manage to live there. Each character in this story has his or her own manner of viewing life and surviving, which is so far fetched that the FBI, CIA and all other watch dogs of our country, are kept in a furor attempting to catch anything that might hurt our country. The action is fast and the outlandish inventiveness of these different people will keep the reader entertained and laughing. For anyone who reads for pure fun, this is the book for you.Product details

Silicon Daze edition by Sylvia Wadlington Humor Entertainment eBooks Reviews
The techno world of the Silicon Valley explodes onto the page in this riotous tale of skullduggery, sex and greed. The Berry Bliss Apartments are home to representatives from every corner of the globe, all of them living like sardines in rented homes, and all of them clawing and clambering up the economic ladder in an effort to snatch a slice of the American dream. Corporate spies vie with CEO's to sabotage each other, a Chinese man tries to remember who he is and where the little pink pills that made him forget came from, and Pocco, a human gumbo of ethnicities, booby traps his car with C-4. This is a dizzying read--the characters whirl satellite-like around Whizzybang Industries, each with own twisted agenda. The author does an amazing job of drawing the reader into the beehive world of Silicon Valley, a truly unique place.
This is a fast paced, sometimes confusing run or romp through the Silicon Valley, following the misadventures of a mixture of people, and organizations. The story involves foreign spies, the FBI, the CIA, the SPCA and even a local fire department among others. Everybody gets involved, seeking a missing computer and a borsht stained tablecloth all while trying to outwit everybody else or freeing family members from imprisonment by foreign spies.
The food, booze and drugs consumed by the characters muddle their minds, burn their throats and make them turn their talents toward a cooperative business venture where they all plan to get rich.
I was at times confused by the banter and the relationships, but it was a fun read and kept my attention. I found a number of typos and several long sentences and would give this story 3.5 stars.
